So in January I went a little FFO crazy to say the least. I FFOed many things and sent 5 things to Heather to have her take some of my finishes and make them into flat folds. Below will be images of the finished FFOs. Enjoy! (Many were finished before I started the blog and some were finished when I wasn't blogging)

Getting Caught Up
So I am going to try and post once a week the same day my weekly video goes live. Here is to hoping but in the month of June to now I have worked on my things and have two finishes. Most of these I do not currently have photos for because while I was MIA on the blog and YouTube I was pretty MIA on IG as well. So this will mostly be a text update. I finished Satsuma Street's Halloween Cat AND Cactus Cat. I put major work into Be Inkspired and Pretty Little Italy. I started a new stitch for a friend. It is the logo of his company. And, I started the new Pretty Little Hawaii from Satsuma Street. I got my Happily Ever After stitch from the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery up to 50% finished. I finished a stitch from 2014 that I received in a craft swap from Becca. I made the decision to purge my WIPS from five that have been weighing me down. And, I am actually okay with the decision; it was the right one. I've had such a good month and aside from being under the radar lately I've had a great stitching month. I cannot wait to get back into the game of posting more on all of my sites and pages. Thank you for being patient with me.

When the Stitch Gods Decide
So far this month I have just been super busy and had a little more joint pain from the Vitamin D crap... YEY. But, a real YEY moment is that I have another FFO. I put my Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery's Give Thanks in a trivet shaped like a turkey. How perfect! I love how this came out. It was my first trivet find and finish and my first time lacing!
I worked more on my Lizzie Kate's Wouldn't Like Be Great, but I put it down because I realized I would run out of the Gentle Arts Maple Syrup thread with half of the pattern to go. I was going to go on the hunt but the super sweet @Tiffinstitches picked some up from 3 Stitches for me and brought it to the Houston Rodeo where we met and got to hang out. Sadly we didn't get to get a photo together, but I am really excited to get this back out soon!
When I put up the other I started one of my new Nashville Market patterns; Hands on Design's Part One from The Laundry Company. I changed the colors to fit my houses style (color changes will come when I'm finished). I got a third of the way through and realized the height of the fabric was WRONG on the tag and that I wouldn't have enough room to finish. So the stitching God's decided I needed to do this project on a totally different color. Sucked but I honestly LOVE the outcome so it was for the best!
Here is the new fabric and colors. I will list them when I finish the design! But, how LUSH is this!
Over the last weekend I went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with two of my favorite people to see Cody Johnson! And, as previously stated I got to meet and hang out with @Tiffinstitches!
Then Monday I got to see one of my bestie get married to the love of her life. It's been a great first half of March. Not enough stitching but I think I'm getting good progress regardless! Until next time guys!

Fun February Weekend
Feeling like a normal functional human again as my Vitamin D levels even out has been fantastic!
I have really needed to take care of all the leaves in my front yard and started making many many piles on Friday evening and Saturday morning. My arms are now killing me and I have three full bags so far with plenty more to come... I should probably go buy more bags!
I have really needed to take care of all the leaves in my front yard and started making many many piles on Friday evening and Saturday morning. My arms are now killing me and I have three full bags so far with plenty more to come... I should probably go buy more bags!
However, the dreaded rain came AGAIN this weekend so I packed up and headed inside for some stitching.
I FINISHED the Stitchrovia Charity SAL! I LOVE it and it is beautiful, in my humble opinion.
I decided this weekend that in between larger finishes I should probably get some work in on my Pen Pals Sampler piece by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. I tend to get bored of it quickly because it's just a ton of smalls but that is also what is so appealing about it.
So I finished PiƱata Party!
Then, I pulled the colors for the Valentine's Day stamp and got a quick start on it. Mostly because I wanted to make one big color change before putting it away. So here is where I stopped.
I wanted to keep the momentum going of another finish so I proposed my list of want to stitch on to Bendy Michele these four: Sewing Cats, Ouija, black outline in Inkspire OR start the Michael Powell Italian charity piece. She directed me to my Cloudsfactory Ouija board. Which I was kind of leaning towards only because it is ALMOST DONE! And, in my head I have a great way I want to finish it!
Where I started...
Where I ended up for the weekend... A PAGE FINISH!!!
Another fun adventure today, Sunday, was going to the local Board and Brush with my boss, her daughter-in-law, and two of my good friends and we made cute "Valentine" themed boards.
This weekend was a productive, fun, and crafty one! Cannot wait to film the upcoming Floss Tube with all of the new progress. Stay tuned!
