February Music Playlist

Something that I LOVE is music. It helps us get through rough times or celebrate. And, while I have around 60 GB on my computer of music I keep a current playlist on my phone. Click the link below to see music videos for the songs I'm obsessed with for the month of February. I will update the youTube playlist every month to every other month and will repost the link overtime it has been updated! I will also list the songs out in the blog post... What a week....

I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to everyone for their love and support. It has been almost a week since I lost Gizmo. Potter and myself's new normal is weird but we are working on it. I am FINALLY able to sleep again. Potter is......... acting out but again we are working through it. Nonetheless I just wanted to thank this amazing community for the outreach and the comments during the last week it has really helped! I wanted to post a few photos of my girl before we get into ALL my stitching so far this week! ENJOY.

ONTO THE STITCHING......

I started stitching again on Saturday and finished my Primitive Ouija Board by Cloudsfactory I have received a lot of comments about my fabric for this. I do know it was a 14ct Aida and it was one of my first ice dying attempts in 2015...... I think. I never really liked it I mean it was okay, but I knew it would take just the RIGHT pattern to make the fabric work for something. 

Once this was finished two of the pieces I've been wanting to work on for weeks I wasn't feeling as much this week because they were of cats or too happy... This all seems silly now but Saturday morning on 3 hours of sleep I just couldn't do it so I started something new. I've been FLYING through it. I LOVE this pattern but mostly I LOVE this fabric! It is my first time stitching on Jobelan and OMG. I tea dyed it a while back. If you want to see when I got the pattern, fabric and threads for this project it was in a February 2017 Flosstube video when I went to an LNS for the first time! But, I started Little House Needleworks Embroidery Guild.. I will post thread color changes and pattern changes when I finish the piece but enjoy some progress photos for now.

Fun February Weekend

Feeling like a normal functional human again as my Vitamin D levels even out has been fantastic!

I have really needed to take care of all the leaves in my front yard and started making many many piles on Friday evening and Saturday morning. My arms are now killing me and I have three full bags so far with plenty more to come... I should probably go buy more bags!

However, the dreaded rain came AGAIN this weekend so I packed up and headed inside for some stitching.

I FINISHED the Stitchrovia Charity SAL! I LOVE it and it is beautiful, in my humble opinion.

I decided this weekend that in between larger finishes I should probably get some work in on my Pen Pals Sampler piece by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. I tend to get bored of it quickly because it's just a ton of smalls but that is also what is so appealing about it.

So I finished Piñata Party!

Then, I pulled the colors for the Valentine's Day stamp and got a quick start on it. Mostly because I wanted to make one big color change before putting it away. So here is where I stopped.

I wanted to keep the momentum going of another finish so I proposed my list of want to stitch on to Bendy Michele these four: Sewing Cats, Ouija, black outline in Inkspire OR start the Michael Powell Italian charity piece. She directed me to my Cloudsfactory Ouija board. Which I was kind of leaning towards only because it is ALMOST DONE! And, in my head I have a great way I want to finish it!

Where I ended up for the weekend... A PAGE FINISH!!!

Another fun adventure today, Sunday, was going to the local Board and Brush with my boss, her daughter-in-law, and two of my good friends and we made cute "Valentine" themed boards.

This weekend was a productive, fun, and crafty one! Cannot wait to film the upcoming Floss Tube with all of the new progress. Stay tuned!
